Our commitment

JobTavern aims to make its website and future employment marketplace usable by people with a wide range of abilities, devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is particularly important for an employment service because people should be able to explore opportunities and hiring tools without unnecessary barriers.

What we are working toward

As the product develops, we intend to use clear semantic structure, keyboard-accessible controls, meaningful labels, sufficient colour contrast, responsive layouts, text alternatives for informative images, visible focus states and understandable form errors.

Ongoing improvement

JobTavern is being rebuilt and the site will continue to change. We intend to review accessibility as new worker, employer, interview and marketplace features are introduced.
